Pastor John Wilbur

John Wilbur grew up in San Antonio, TX and St Louis, MO as a pastor’s kid. He graduated with a BS in English Bible from Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, MO. Janice was also a pastor’s kid and grew up in Douds, IA and Waukegan, IL. Her parents pastored the Zion Bible Church in Douds for many years. She is a graduate of Oak Hills Bible College in Bemidji, MN.

John and Janice have ministered in Bible camp ministry and youth/children’s ministry for 30 years. They have been at Fairfield Friends Church since 2011 with John as the youth/children and family pastor up until recently being chosen to take the pastorate, and Janice is running the children’s church ministry.

John is also a life-guard, life-guard instructor and CPR/First Aid instructor. Janice is a certified nurse’s assistant and works at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

They have two sons in their 20s, a daughter in law and a granddaughter.
